Most OB ultrasounds are done in the office, but some obstetric ultrasounds may require more high-risk evaluation. In those cases, we will refer our high-risk patients to our excellent perinatologist sources for expert evaluation of the suspected concern.
Many problems also arise in our non-pregnant patients. Gynecology complaints such as pelvic pain or pressure and heavy abnormal bleeding are very common. If at all possible, we strive to get our patients in for same day ultrasounds. In emergent cases we can do the ultrasound immediately. We do our best to offer as many services as possible within our own practice to address our patient’s health care concerns in the quickest and most effective way possible.
